My stats are a 93.6 gpa
SAT Scores are a 540 on reading, 550 on math, and a 620 in writing. I know they aren't very high but i think my act is better.
I took the ACT twice and got a 24 on both of them but i heard that stony brook superscores the act as well and superscored my score is a 26 on the ACT.
I am also taking AP Calculus right now and my resume looks pretty good and i have a decent essay.
Do i have an okay shot at getting in?

Stony Brook: High match (SUNY schools seem to value SAT/ACT more than GPA; you can always try American or Brandeis, provided you do not send the ACT and your ECs are up to par)

Well I already sent everything in, but does that mean I have a good chance?

Plz answer guys im soo nervous!

Stony Brook - Reach…

Stony Brook is a straight match. Your SAT scores are on target.

Please chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1612160-chance-me-for-good-and-rising-northeast-schools.html#latest

Sorry, respectfully disagree with above poster. At my daughter’s school, the average score for kids who were admitted was around 1260. 1090 makes it a reach, though the grades are really good and should help, and the superscored ACT might make it closer to a higher match/low reach. Anyway, you’re not out of the running, and good luck!
