Would I be disqualified from Cornell engineering?

Hi, so on the Cornell College of Engineering "Freshman Tips", I saw this:

"Fulfill curriculum requirements:
16 units, including:
1 of Chemistry
1 of Physics
1 of Biology
4 of Mathematics
(including 1 of calculus)
Also recommended:
Computer Science"
The problem is I haven't taken biology since middle school.I have done two years of Chemistry, two years of Physics, yet no biology. I am a junior and I will be taking IBD for the next two years, so it is impossible for me to take biology. Does this make me disqualified, even if I want to major in Chemical Engineering?

Call them and ask them.

^^^ Agreed. If the middle school class was for HS credit (students in our district take some HS classes in MS) it shouldn’t be an issue. If it is a problem, ask the school and your guidance counselor for suggestions on how to remedy it because you still have time — likely a summer class at a HS or CC could do the trick.
