I went to 9th and 10th grade in GA and 11th and 12th in California. However, my dad has been living and working in California since I was a freshman because he got a new job. My mom, sister and I didn’t move right away with him. We lived in GA for my first 2 years of high school.(It was because my mom was working on her Masters and she wanted to finish before we moved).
Would i still qualify for in-state tuition?
If your parents have been living in California for the last 2 years, paying taxes, have CA driver’s license along with you graduating from a California HS, you are in-state for California.
Yes, you say you are spending 2 years in hs in CA and graduating from a CA HS and your parents are residents of CA and you all intend to be permanent residents you meet every requirement. The full rules are here:
