Not sure how serious the communications program is here (I’ve heard both good and bad), but if someone could tell me a little about it, that would be awesome. Is it possible for me to get in? Possibly with money? (I know there’s a communication school scholarship.)

@NotSoSerious Ypu should be ok. If you want to help your chances. Apply for DUS (Dept.of Undergraduate Studies). Its for undecided majors students. Still can take all the classes you need to do communications.

Apply in September, complete the essay, but you wouldn’t even need to apply DUS, the bubble chart indicates you’re in as long as you apply early. If you wish to increase your odds, retake the SAT and focus on your CR score.
Remember however that you will not hear back for a while - if you apply RD to other colleges you’ll hear in March, so if you apply in September to PSu you’ll hear earlier than that, but it may well in in January.
