Would I get into Georgetown?

I’m currently a junior, I’m taking AP Stats, AP Comp, AP US Gov’t and Politics, APES, AP Art Studio, AP Psych, and AP Human Geography, as well as Honors Bio, Band 2, and Trig/Pre-Calc. I have extracurriculars such as robotics (we are world qualifiers), MUN, student council, sports, NHS, Interact, etc. I would like to go into International Relations at Georgetown, although I do have quite a bit of STEM activities and clases. So for my senior year I plan on taking AP Comp and Lit, AP Microeconomics, AP Computer Science Principles, but what I’m wondering is should I take AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, or AP Physics, or all of them, I’m not sure if it will matter much since I’m not going into a STEM related field where I’d need extensive math info, but I’ve heard of students being rejected due to them not taking the most rigorous courseload at their schools, so should I be taking all of them? I’m currently very stressed at the moment with my current schedule, and I’ve taken APUSH last year as a sophomore. I haven’t taken the SAT yet, but I got a 1260 on the PSAT, I’m not sure about the ACT, but I think I got a 29. I’m ranked number 1 in my class with a 4.1 weighted GPA (since it only accounts for the APUSH credit). Any advice is great, thanks!

Your ACT and SAT scores are below average for Georgetown, so you should take them again. As for classes, if you don’t want to take AP Calc or AP Physics, is regular or honors classes in those subjects a possibility?

It depends on how much you want to go to Georgetown. I would take all three and just work really hard on the weekends. Also, you might want to work on your test scores a wee bit! Please chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/20246674#Comment_20246674
