Hi!
I am a rising senior and this question has been bothering me since I was a sophomore. I go to school in Canada and my dream colleges are Mcgill and the University of Toronto.
These are my grades so far:
Physics 11: 90%
Functions 11: 90%
English 11: 93%
Chemistry 11: 90%
Advanced Functions 12: 91%
Computer Science 11: 95%
Calculus and Vectors 12: 88%
Biology 11: 90%
Travel and tourism 11: 95%
World history 12: 96%
I’m also doing some extra curricular activities and I will be getting a job the upcoming fall.
However, I do not think my calculus grade is high enough… I also took AP calc AB and got a 1 in my exam. This makes me extremely worried. Would these colleges mind the fact that I got a 1?
I want to apply for electrical engineering or computer science but I do not know if I could get into any of those two programs.
Would it be a good to apply for history just in case, since my history mark is my highest? I don’t know if I could make it into engineering or computer science?
