Would I get into U of T with these stats...

I am applying to the University of Toronto Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the St. George Campus-Humanities Program. I have looked all over the internet to find the average GPA for admitted freshman from U.S. High Schools, but all I know is that you usually need at least a 3.2 to be admitted (I called the admissions office). However, I am still worried about my chances for admission: Does anyone think I could get into U of T with a 3.4/4.0 GPA and 1760 SAT? My grades were pretty bad freshman and sophomore year, but improved a lot junior year and 1st semester senior year. So, what do you think my chances of admission are? (I have good scores in my SAT II's, and have 4 AP's on my record). Also, my high school does not rank but it is a very competetive school. (My GPA junior and senior year combined would be about a 3.63/4.0 unweighted.)

*Overall for high school, I have a 3.43/4.0 unweighted. Also, U of T just looks at GPA and SAT scores. Any replies would help. Thanks!

Hi, i think you’ll get in, best of luck

I have no idea how UofT looks at international students, but I mean, getting into UofT from a Canadian Highschool is very easy. I think the acceptance rate is like, 80, I’d guess. The fun part is trying to make it out alive, haha.

It’s good you powered up these last two HS years! BTW, we’re a 2nd year UofT from US family.

hmm i think you’re probably borderline. you should get in though. i had a 3.49 unweighted GPA and 1780 on SAT and i got into commerce.

^^ oh btw, abt the above post, the 3.49 GPA was over 4 years. my final two years i got 3.8 average.
