Probably should have waited a few days for your new ACT score to come out before posting this thread. What about AP scores or SAT II’s?

I have only taken 2 AP tests so far, and no SAT II’s. I got a 5 on Calc BC with a 5 AB subscore, but a measly 3 on APUSH. I can pretty much guarantee 5s on Statistics, Econ, and Psych, and either 4s or 5s on Physics and Government. I’m only a junior right now.

Improve a little bit on your sat and maybe take the subject test for us history to show that you are are adept at history and if you do well this can mitigate your apush score. Everything else is stellar and I would be very shocked if you are not accepted to berkley. Good Luck!

Woah I never even thought of taking the US History SAT II; that’s a fantastic idea! thanks!!

Weakest point are ECs, but tbh that’s not even that bad, just lacks a bit of focus and leadership stuff. But overally really good, UCs care more about GPA/tests anyways, so I’d say Berkley is a match for you. Calc BC in sophomore year is pretty respectable as well. Perhaps, if you can bring up your SAT 50-150 points and score good sat IIs, you’d also be in the running for ivys too.
