I got accepted to UCI for CS and in my application I have 3 course as "In progress" and Math: Linear Algebra as "Planned". But I could not enroll in the planned course math. The contract say "Complete all courses exactly as listed "in progress" OR "planned" as you reported on your UC Application". Does the OR mean they take IP over PL and don't look at PL because I have both of them. I already messaged them about not taking the planned course but I'm still worried now because this is the only school that I got into and I don't want to get rescinded. :(

Don’t ask it here. Email your admission counselor asap. The longer you wait, the worst it will be for you.

I already message them and they usually take long to reply and it is weekend so I could not call them. So I ask here if anyone have any ideas.

If it’s a major prereq…you will most likely get rescinded unless they are understanding…

Do you go to a quater school? How could you not know that you weren’t able to get the class?

I go to semester ccc and when I update the classes, the semester just started few weeks before so I was trying to crash in classes to enroll but unable to. And because I put it as “planned” instead of “in-progress” like the other 3 classes so I assume they know and just put the 3 IP class in their record. And It is not prereq but recommended lower division req class.

And usually if someone get rescind is there a chance to “negotiate” with them and take the class later?
