Would I get rescinded from college for getting 3's on my AP tests?

I have gotten A's and a B+ on the AP classes in school, but received two 3's (partially due to crappy teachers), a 4, and a 5 (the ones with lowest scores are not related to my planned major). Would I get rescinded for that? Do the AP scores of the AP classes matter as much as the grades in the classes?

No. AP scores will never get you rescinded.

Even a 1? What does qualify to be rescinded then, and how do you know?

Poor Grades (not ap scores)/ Behavior

Yes, that’s what “never” implies. :)

As benjayminf indicated, it would take poor grades and/or behavioral problems.

you will likely not get credit for those exams.

that is all.

Considering there is no requirement that you even take AP exams, there is definitely no way that you could get rescinded over grades that don’t even come out until six weeks before you move in. Not a chance in the world.

My senior AP scores were 2 in Bio, 3 in Lit and 4 in Math BC, for what it’s worth.

You would be more likely to get rescinded for Jay-walking.

Important question:
What about dropping courses?
I mean you have to state what classes you will be taking so they would know…

Reason being is that I have a heavy course load senior year second semester …
senioritis you know. Infectious.

No, you can’t drop courses after being admitted ED. I know people who asked this, and they were told to finish the year with the courses they had started. You don’t have to take the AP exams though, I know people who decided not to take lit comp.

You would need to fail a class or get mostly C’s (or get suspended/expelled from school or get in trouble with the police).

You can change a second semester course if you’re accepted ED provided you get an OK from the Admissions Office (I had to do this…I wrote to Admissions and it was no problem since I had a heavy load to begin with). But don’t drop a course without checking with them first.
