Is there any chance for me ? Or you guys think I will be rejected flat out ?

To be honest, all first tier schools are a crapshoot. They’re difficult to get into, and there’s no way of telling if or if you won’t get accepted, unless you’re a dismal student. Your grades look fine, but keep on working as hard as you can, taking as many APs as you can handle, working as much as you can, joining as many ECs as you can, and doing what you love. Passion really comes through in an application. And work hard on your essays and strengthen relationships with teachers so they can write an excellent rec for you. Good luck!

Edit: I didn’t read the first part of your post…Didn’t you hear if you were accepted or not yet? And you’re applying for FA (financial aid)? If only applying for FA then grades don’t matter, it’s only need. I’m not quite sure what you’re asking, but I’ll leave my original post just in case.

Oh, I did not apply to Brown this year and I got rejected from schools that I applied to so I am reapplying next year.

I plan to go all out next year with a few Ivies, including Brown. I understand that it is a crapshoot for everyone. I guess what I want to know here is whether I have a chance or my stats are too low for Ivy caliber

Brown is not need-blind for international students. So if you are applying for financial aid and are international, you really have to be something special to get in.

Frankly, as an international needing aid, the chances of getting into and affording an American university is slim.

True. I understand what you are saying. I, myself, have experienced this because I was rejected by 5 schools this year.

So why are you looking at schools that are not need-blind for internationals for next year?

Your being an international with relatively low test scores will greatly inhibit your chances at top schools (if your results this admissions season weren’t any indicator already)… The international pool applying to the Ivies is incredibly, incredibly competitive, so, to be honest, I don’t see your chances being all that great.

I personally don’t think SAT reflect my true ability but this is the game that I am applying and I have to accept the rules. I am gonna try to increase my SAT to at least 2100, if not 2200 by reviewing for it this summer. Will my chance then be a bit better ?
