The only public college I KNOW I’d like to apply to is Georgia Tech, but I’m somewhat interested in the Honors College at Alabama. I already know that I am not really feeling public schools in my state like Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Is the U of A similar? I’m not super picky, but I would like to have a decent supply of all races (especially African-Americans because while I cherish diversity, it’s nice to be around people who are like you sometimes) and people who are not party-minded. Like, people who enjoy plays and concerts and orchestra performances and just hanging out together while still enjoying a good, fun time (minus all the drinking and craziness). Or is that kind of a hit and miss situation at an SEC school?Any opinions on the student body appreciated!
