I got in ED at Columbia....but I want to drop one of my classes so I can leave at 12.30 instead of 2.30, in order to take a college class for my EMT license, I would be dropping Honors Anatomy. Would they rescind my admission? What should I do ?

Ask Columbia.

I would suck it up and continue with the class. I doubt you'd get rescinded if you dropped, but why take a risk like that unless you're likely to be compensated in a big way (vegas, anyone?).

anyone else?

I dropped AP American Gov't. I don't think it will affect my admissions because I'm still taking a rigorous course load.

first, call the college, second...DO SUCK it up..please don't risk it!!!
you can make someone on the waiting list sooo happy!
I'm serious, right now I am freakin out over my grades. I think I'll have 2 bad grades and I got into NYU. But the rule is that you gotta be the same person they accepted! if you had an 90 avg..keep it there. Don't change your classes, just do what you can! Unless, of course the college will allow you to change it w/o any problems, but otherwise stick to the way you were!
