<p>I know it says topic of choice and that it's obviously allowed. But I mean, would colleges think otherwise, that I'm just lazy and I don't want to write another essay. </p>
<p>Personally, I think my first UC prompt essay showcased me pretty darn well. I never had it read by anyone though...</p>
<p>How would they know it was your UC essay, unless you mention UC in it? (Obviously if you mention UC in it, it's probably not a good choice for submission to other colleges ;)). Recycling admission and scholarship essays is a time-honored tradition; you just have to make sure the essay is relevant. In this case, submit it as your essay under the "topic of your choice" topic, frame a question or introductory sentence to identify your topic, and you're good to go. Good luck!</p>
