I didn't to too well on my AP test but the class turned out to be a blow off

all of my stats are high, including ACT (33), so will putting a 2 (got an A in class though) next to the test make me look worse than if i just took a normal class

You can just not put it on your application if you don’t want to.

Taking the AP class and getting an A with a 2 on the test is much better than taking a regular class. Period.

thanks so now the question is should i put it down or not…i want to get into some pretty elite schools too

(alot of the other kids in class i talked to also got 2’s while in other subjects they got 4’s)

Put it down.

If you put down the exam scores for other tests but not the one you got a 2 on, colleges will pretty much know that you got a bad score.

Colleges don’t like it when you try to beat the system. Just put down everything you’ve got.

i think you should just put it in your apps, i was always told that taking an ap class and not submitting your scores looks bad because it looks like you just wanted to take it to higher your gpa, assuming you passed the class. and anyway, at least you tried right?

i have a 2 for ap eng. lang and all i ever did in class was sit and talk because my teacher’s just a replacement for the teacher who left. at least it shows that you tried. and if you passed other ap exams, i’m sure its okay.
