Would it be CRAZY

for an international student(asian) to apply to Emory with 1910 on SAT and a mediocre GPA and course load?.....

If that international student gets accepted, I would say, “wow, he or she must’ve had amazing extracurricular activities or an essay that literally knocked their socks off.” I’ve seen people with 2100ish SAT range still get rejected even when their GPA was decent and they had average number of EC’s.

But then again, my philosophy is cast your net wide even if you think it’s crazy. You might get in, no one knows for sure  But, I would compare your GPA to the class profile and how mediocre course load is your course load? Also, do you have anything extraordinary that will set you off in your application?

Judging from only that one-sentence alone, then, yes, it would be crazy.
