To get into Ithaca undecided, or in the bio program?

kayleealia if you really want bio then state that on your app because the school wont take you even as an undecided if your grades etc are not good enough. its not easier to make a school as an undecided unless your science grades are not as good as your over academic performance. Good luck my son goes to ithaca and loves it

I don't know if it is necessarily easier to get into either. If for some reason you would be deemed a good enough applicant for IC but not for the Bio program (I don't know why this would be), they would just accept you, but not for that program.
Also, the second poster is right in that it may not be the easiest to transfer into a major. So, if you think its what you want to do, then just apply for it, you could potentially switch later if you wanted to do something else.
Also, keep in mind that you couldn't take any courses open to bio majors only (without an override) if you were exploratory ...and being exploratory would have earlier registration benefits as well.
