I know this is a difficult question for anyone to answer. But I’m just curious if anyone has experience or anecdotal evidence.
I’m a “good” but definitely not “great” math student. I am a sophomore taking algebra 2 which is the middle track for my school----not the most advanced, but not the least advanced either. Pretty average. I’m much more advanced in English, social sciences, etc, and I’m confident I can score well in CR on the SAT if i study enough.
I’ve managed to get A’s in every math up to and including algebra 2, but it doesn’t come super naturally to me.
I did “eh” on the math PSAT (got a 630) and that’s definitely not the kind of score I want. I got a 730 on the CR which I’m a little proud of.
Has anyone with a math background like me managed to excel on math SAT or ACT? What were your methods?
