would it be possible to get into college based purely on gpa and sats?

however, i started preparation late as im overseas and didn't decide to take the test until this year. So i have very few ECs (because im lazy) would i be able to get into say harvard, JHU, UPENN, etc?</p>

<p>nice… i mean if you at least have a few ECs, a good essay, and an actual interest in the school, i don’t see why you wouldn’t have a chance.</p>

<p>Yes. My EC activities were almost nonexistent, but I still got into college. I guess it depends on what college you want to get into. If it’s super comptetive, then having more than GPA and a good SAT is necessary.</p>

<p>Take in mind that it’ll be much harder for you because you’re an International. What race are you? If you are a URM, that’ll help.</p>

<p>YES. Rutgers (for example) looks only at your stats and not at essays or recs simply because they have too many applicants.</p>

<p>sadly im not applying for rutgers. if i dont get into one of the choices i mentioned above, im just going to UNSW or Usyd in australia</p>
