Would it be possible to have a double major if i were to attend a Community College for two years and then transfer to a 4 or 6 year college? Because right now my high school grades aren't that good, and i think i'm going to have to pay for college myself...and right now going to a community college right after high school and transferring looks like the best option. I know that if i wanted to do a double major it all depends on the school and how much time i want to stay in school, but would it be possible? please reply! thank you!

Of course it's possible.

To get an idea, investigate the majors you'd be interested in...look at the college coursework required for that major(s) (preferably from a 4-year university you'd ultimately like to attend), and then take as many prerequisite/lower-division transferrable courses you can at your community college. Strive for top grades.

You'll get your lower-division requirements out of the way, while testing the waters and saving some money.

Community college is great for students that have the drive and motivation to reach their end goal, but may have messed up along the way.
