if you have already written a personal essay on this extracurricular activity then maybe choose something else for the extracurricular activity essay?
but if you write 2 essays on basically the same topic it will most likely be looked down upon

I just needed to know before I wasted my time.
I’ve written both essays already on two different topics. I was just considering changing my personal essay topic to the same subject as the activity short answer but talking about a specific experience. Now that I think about it, I think I’m going to take the chance and keep my original essay because it’s not bad, I just need to explain how it has influenced me more.</p>
