I am down to two schools and don't know where to go.

One school has a program that I really want to get into. It's fantastic, a great opportunity. Small classes, beautiful buildings, incredible facilities...if I graduate from this program and do well I am set for life. Only problem is, it's really specialized. Now, I have taken the basic high school courses that are the foundation to this field, and have enjoyed them. But other than that, I know little about the field.

Another school has a good department in what I would want to major in, and if I do well there, I can get direct admission to the above program for grad school. This field is much broader, and would allow me to explore different options. Problem is, I would be at a disadvantage going to grad school (grads from this school haven't done as well as expected).

Right now my goal is to ultimately end up at program A, whether it's now or in 4 years. So if I want to end up there, wouldn't it make the most sense to go there now? Or would it make more sense to get a broader education and make sure it's something I really want to do?
