Would it be worth it to double major..?

The career path I have chosen is in the music business or any sort of career that involves being a manager or a PR in the industry.

I figured that double majoring in a BA with Communications (with either a PR or Media Studies concentration) and BA for Business Administration(not sure if I should take a generalized major or Marketing or Management) would be the best.

But here's where it gets a bit tricky.

I'm only a senior in HS right now so I have minimal knowledge about how my college majors may or may not affect me when the time comes.
And also, would I even be guaranteed to find a job after college nowadays with these particular majors? I know there's a lot of struggle and competition within finding a job especially nowadays but I want some sort of security that, with my majors, I can easily find something to lay back on. I just need an honest opinion because I don't want to regret anything tbh.

And about the concentration or BA/BS in each. Which do you think would be more beneficial in the end?

Also, when I say BA/BS. I don’t really know the difference between each one so knowing what I’d be getting into for each major would be helpful!!

In my opinion a BS is more marketable. They tend to have more quantitative courses. But it’s hard to say, you will have to look at the individual courses in the programs and see which looks better.

Whatever you decide, remember that in a profession like PR/media, the top 2 things I would say that will help job placement are:

 1. connections
 2. internships, experience, so on.

A double major would be secondary to those two things.
