<p>S was told in an email exchange with area rep not to bother sending SATIIs where the score is below the 90th percentile. The score is reported on the Common App anyway but if you want to use this as a guideline, go ahead.</p>

That might be less true for Math and Science SAT IIs in which the 90th percentile is very high. For example I got a 770 in Math II and am at like the 87th percentile, but I’m certainly going to send the score.</p>
