Im currently a 10th grader in high school. I want to drop my spanish (i will take another test that gives me my credits) so I could do track and field. But i don't want it to look bad for college. I don know what to do. I will also take AP phycology next year my junior year.

Both CSUs and UCs require a minimum of 2 years of a language other than English. They ‘prefer’ 3 or more. You could, no doubt, drop the class and meet the requirement with a summer class, community college, or simply taking it next year. Taking AP Psych won’t help you meet this requirement in any way.

You are almost halfway through the year, i’d stick with it. You track coach will understand.
