Would it look stupid...

To take AP English Lit after taking English Lit at a community college? I'm interested in doing it this year, not for admissions at all, but just because the community college class was kind of lame and didn't require reading even one book and I really want to learn more. I'm planning on taking the exam anyway. I just wouldn't want it to look like I was taking an "easy" class because I've gone through a class of the same name before. Would it come across this way?

I doubt it.

I’m not sure. You could probably indicate that you’d get a better knowledge of literature through your AP class rather than the community college class.

Yeah, maybe I could do that somewhere. Any more thoughts/opinions? Thanks for responding.
