Would like to add a college or two ... any suggestions?

I feel like we are missing something for my daughter. She really would like to go out-of-state, but with great choices here (SC) it will be hard to turn down the $5000 she will get towards in-state tuition if she stays here (Life Scholarship). We would like to keep it in the price range of Clemson which is around $20K.

She does not want to stay in the south - I would prefer she doesn’t go too far - may the NE? She has only applied to 6 schools. I would love to throw a few more in and would appreciate any ideas for more to add. Applying as a nursing major.

It would help if we knew something about what her interests are.

That being said, Muhlenberg is a lively school that may offer her merit
Earlham has a lot of heart and has excellent academics, huge gorgeous campus
Agnes Scott (in the South, I know, and a very good school)
St. John’s of Annapolis (she may get merit as they need women; they have another campus in New Mexico which might make for a nice change for one year of her studies)
Check out Temple. They used to have automatic merit but then I heard things may have changed somewhat.
Seton Hall gives merit
Adelphi gives 75% of students merit
Goucher gives 43% of its students merit
Guilford gives merit to many of its students. The school also has a lot of connections to other schools in its area for cross registration.
