Would love some input on sororities

I've been doing some research on the Panhellenic Association of sororities. I would like to know the general rankings/statuses of each on campus, while of course keeping in mind that while this doesn't affect anything important, it would still be fun to know and see what people think. That said, please don't get offended by anything said because it's only speculation.

In particular, I was wondering if Theta, Kappa, Chi Omega, and Tridelt are as popular as they usually are across college campuses nationwide?

Tridelt, Kappa, Pi Phi and Theta are the 4 most popular sororities on campus in roughly that order. Chi Omega is a the bottom of the totem pole but they have a great sisterhood which you should consider strongly as well in addition to status.

Some of the stuff done in sororities and frats are very vulgar/offensive. Remember that you should be prepared for these crazy rituals.

I’m definitely interested in sisterhood over status, although it would be great to have it both ways, of course :P. I’ve heard of 4/5 mentioned (Pi Phi isn’t at my current uni) and they’re all pretty solid nationwide. Why is Chi Omega at the bottom if their sisterhood is so strong?

You asked about status, not sisterhood. These being sororities, the pecking order is based on looks/popularity. That’s it.
Although since sororities at Duke don’t live together and don’t rush until spring, their overall influence is much lower than at some other schools.

Pi Phi, Kappa, and Tridelt are known as the “key three” best sororities
