would management information systems be the right major for me? where can I find info

i'm currently a college freshman with no major. the main reason why i haven't decided a major is because while I love computers (building one from scratch, troubleshooting OS errors myself, building websites, creating & editing audio/video content), I do not like math very much. And more importantly, computer science/computer programming does not appeal to me, i would much more rather be the end user and not the developer.

going from the small 1 paragraph passage on the collegeboard's page on majors, MIS looks to be really enticing. It's not very math/quantitively oriented but yet it's technically related.

in your opinions, would this be the right major for me? also, where can I find out more information about majors? those 1 paragraph webpages by collegeboard aren't very helpful...

You should look into CIS rather than MIS, MIS tends to be much much more management than technical work. while CIS(Computer information systems) is much much more computer work. More of what I think you are interested in.

some people take these 2 majors to be the exact same thing, they can be and sometimes are not, It really depends on the school.

I am in sort of the same situation, though I am quite further in Computer engineering.
