Would my A+ in a college class help boost my chances of admissions?

I just finished up my junior year of high school and decided to take government at a local community college. I finish the class tomorrow and, if all goes as planned, I will come out with an A+.

Will this help my chances of admission or will it not matter, seeing as the college I took the class at isn't that great?

Community college classes do not always hold much sway with adcoms, as many are easier than APs. However, an A+ is always nice on the transcript.

I was kind of afraid of that. Thank you, though!

Yeah I agree with fauve, but I think they’ll notice that you took the initiative to take a course outside of school, which shows that you’re passionate about education and try to pursue it outside your regular high school. I think they’ll admire that. And, hey, an A+ can’t hurt you, it can only help.
