I think in the conversion table, my SAT is higher than my ACT score. HOWEVER, my critical reading score is sooooo low that I think my ACT would be considerably better since its scores are pretty even. What do you guys think?

12 views and no answer… BUMMPPP

well a 580 on the reading section isnt far off of a 27 on the reading section i think. but i would think that your act would be better

Looking at the scores you posted…

Besides having a few exceptions here and there, both of the scores (ACT and SAT) are roughly equal to each other. I’m talking about the overall score, not individual sections. xD

how many of each test did you take and do you plan on retaking either?

also yes you’re right. your SAT score is probably just a bit higher, but i’m unsure how negative your CR score really is.

If you are looking at a major that is math/science based I would send the SAT if looking toward liberal arts/humanities send the ACT - or send both and let the college use the one they want as the scores really aren’t that much different.
