Hmm if i were to get arrested or convicted for any sort of crime (nothing serious like murder)…could Penn withdraw my admission?
Thanks!

the mere fact that you would ask in the first place......;)

hey whats that suppose to mean? whatver so whats your opinion 26e?

it was a joke. sry
it depends on the crime you plan on committing (it'd be easier just not to get caught) ;)

i'm not really in a position to know, but:

going 65 on a 45, prob not
stealing a snickers from a gas station, prob
going 80 on a 45, poss
drunk driving, certainly
parking ticket, certainly not

haha yeah i knew you were joking...how about getting caught with drugs or something of that nature? inapropriate activities in public places? im curious, and i dont mean to post this to seem scandalous or anything i just really want to know

You have to report traffic tickets to Penn?

yeah, well some kid who was going to madison commited a school prank and got his admission withdrawn. he stole our schools hand crafted 40,000$ mascot and totally trashed it. then he lied. he is going nowhere this year. so be careful and dont be stupid.

drugs....hmm....

a reefer in your car? maybe, maybe not
dealing? um, yeah
possesion on school grounds? i think so
canoodling lol in public? lewd and lascivious equal either emphatic yes or emphatic no

oh wow sharkbite thats kinda scary though i would not do that sort of thing....
26e...hmm yeah that sucks
guess we should all just be careful

A $40,000 mascot!!!!

this is the problem with public schools.

if it's private, this is the problem with private schools.

if it's parochial? guess

what are you, the central wisconsin hope diamonds?

it smells like a good essay!

"Dear Penn Adcom. Yes, I was caught having sex on school grounds. And but school grounds, I mean the 50 year line. And yes, I was charged with indecent exposure. But I was just practicing for the button! Seriously."

If you were convicted of a felony, it would definitely be withdrawn. A misdemeanor, maybe.

In all honesty, if something like this were to happen your best bet would be to contact admissions and explain the situation.

Depends on the crime. If you kill someone while driving drunk, probably so.
If you're about to go break half a dozen city statutes, get a couple of misdemeanors, all to pull off a very nice senior prank. I doubt it.

what is your crime dude? there are plenty of douche bags at Penn but come on, they do their best to keep them from coming.

my friend got rescinded from johns hopkins for drug related stuff

yikes that blows

I was the one who got our big rival, but i made sure my prank was non destructive

it was still sweet tho

26e: I got a 100 in a 30... would that do anything? I didn't even tell colleges. Should I even worry about it.

RedButton, if you read the fine print for most schools, it says that they don't care about speeding tickets. Check to be safe, though.

yes... speeding ticket, but i had to go to court and all this nonsense. I couldn't just pay the fine. I was charged with reckless endangerment and some other stuff
