<p>I wrote about community service, and I thought it was unique.</p>
<p>It is not the topic, it is what you do with the topic.</p>
<p>Virtually any topic can make for a great essay; virtually any topic can make for a poor essay.</p>
<p>If this topic will allow you to write an essay that is personal, specific, honest and revealing, an essay that could only be written by you, then the topic could be good for you.</p>
