Would NYU care?

If I got a C in Chinese this semester? I got in ED and am wondering if this would cause them to withdraw my acceptance.

I'd have 4 A's 1 B and 1 C this semester. That C CAN turn into a B, but not very likely.

If the rest of your grades are fine, they really won’t care. As long as you successfully graduate in a few months, you’re good!

NYU does not require a midyear report, so if you can raise that C to a B by the end of the year, you should be fine.

Even if your final grade remains a C, I doubt it would rescind your admission.

Even if it were Stern?

You are fine. Once you are in, you are in. You would really have to screw major big time for anything to happen. Relax…

One more question. If I’m in the process of obtaining the IB Diploma and by some chance do not receive it, will they rescind my acceptance? D=

I’m having a really hard time with my EE =.=

I was really concern about having my admission rescinded second half senior year, but the truth of it is it takes a lot to have it happen, a lot as in bellow a C for the year, even then, unless you failed completely, your fine.

by not getting the IB Diploma, would you not graduate high school?

No, I’d still graduate.

If you REALLY want to make sure, you can anonymously call the Admissions Hotline and pose it as a “what-if” without giving your name.
