I mean, I know I'm being a pathetic loser but I'm playing with the idea that this might be a joke. I mean, they STRONGLY emphasized that NO ONE would get their letters before the 15th and we got it wayyy before the 15th. What's going on? WOuld such a huge university really lie? Or maybe they just finished early? I know its 99% unlikely, but just thought I'd throw it out there. What do you guys think?

Anyways, YAY CONGRATS TO US AND FUTURE ACEPTEES!

I can assure you that those who have received their decisions have received REAL decisions. A friend of one of my D's received his letter from Tisch, and I saw it, so yes it's real! :) They always give the 12/15 date because that is what they aim for, and also so they don't have a million kids bugging them for the decisions earlier! Every year they start to send them out a little early and it continues through the end of December. Two years ago my D got her decision on 12/13. It's not a joke!

sorry but yes...i think they did lie to us.
they told me that they only send them out on 15th...begining on 15th...
now it looks like they lied to us

jayson, the person meant that she wondered if the acceptance was a lie and a joke. It obviously isn't. You really need to calm down and find something else to do.

They send them out early every year. They say you won't be notified until the 15th and they mail them out early so hopefully the mail will arrive no later than the 15th.
