Would pursuing 2 certificates help me obtain some of these jobs? (please help)

In the future I plan on going to University, and while I’m there I want a part time job that is near the campus and pays at least $11-hour. But before that I’m going to Community College and I want to obtain degrees/certificates that would qualify me for some of the jobs below.

I was thinking that I should get 2 certificates, 1 in “Accounting” and another in “Engineering Technology”.

Do you guys think this is a good idea or should I pursue something else?
