Would she be challenged at UROC?

They may have had Trig. They may not remember enough Trig.

But… to each our own. I’ve explained my reasoning and you’ve explained yours. If a reader feels this is a reason to cross a school off their list, it probably is.

I, personally, have no problem with their requiring this test for this class. I think it’s a good idea and could save some students from a bit of an overwhelming headache. I suspect the majority who could pass it easily wouldn’t think twice about it.

Yes, U of R will challenge your daughter; she will have many, many like-minded, high-stat peers. It is a wonderful school full of hard-working, intelligent kids. To focus on one evaluative test or one disgruntled poster would be counterproductive…but you already know that! Good luck!

Creekland, we’re on the same side!

If someone crossed a school off a list because of something like this, that person has issues.

I agree! My response wasn’t to yours, but to our ■■■■■… Fortunately, the mods have deleted the ■■■■■’s response as it was pretty demeaning (surprise, surprise), but that does make it look like I was responding to you. I wasn’t. ;)
