<p>My S just accepted. He too was at first concerned by labels people use describing SMU. But like most stereotypyes, all you have too is look beyond the all too easy phrases. Spend 10 minutes watching the students walking around and you will realize SMU has a very wide range of students from all walks of life. </p>
<p>Sure Dallas is more conservative than LA or NY but that is just a label, any community large or small has a wide range of people living there. </p>
<p>Scratch beneath the surface and you would find SMU is a great school, like many other choices, where a student can excel and be happy too !</p>
