Would someone kindly chance me?

Hello all! I am a rising senior and I am interested in attending Georgetown. I will not be applying EA to Georgetown since I will be applying ED to Penn, but Georgetown is one of my top choices.
Anyway, here are my stats:
GPA: 4.0 UW all three years (expecting all As senior year)
SATs: 740 CR 710 M 680 W (I'm glad that Georgetown does not take writing)
SAT IIs: 700 Bio 700 Lit 760 History (Will be taking chemistry in June and probably world history and math II in October)
APs: none yet (my school offers few so all of my APs are to be taken senior year)
*Taking the most rigorous courseload available

ECs:
Marching Band and Concert Band (9-12)
-First chair flute in concert band
-Hoping to be named Drum Major of MB, but expecting section leader if not
- Performed multiple solos at concerts
- Attended a chamber music ensemble camp last summer

Track (9-12)
-Varsity letter all years
-3rd place finish in 800m at Divisional meet

Model UN/Congress (9-12)
-Position Paper award
-Currently organizing a fundraiser to help combat the global clean water crisis
-Asking for an extra recommendation from club advisor next year (probably glowing)

Book Club (9-12)
-President (12)

National Honor Society (12)
-Possibly running for an officer position next year? Maybe VP?

Volunteer Work:
-Hospital Volunteer (250 hours+)
-Relay For Life (~100 hours)

Work Experience:
-Summer Camp Counselor (11,12)

Hook: I don't know if this counts but I was (and currently still am) raised in a single parent home (deceased father). Otherwise I am white and from NJ... yay.

Additional Info:
I have taken a community college class in philosophy and received an A. I will be taking an additional course this summer in public policy and expect an A as well. I will also be going to Girls State over the summer.

I will be applying to Georgetown’s Nursing and Health School with a prospective major in International Health.
Any feedback would be appreciated!! Will chance back

I think you have a really good chance of getting in.

What you have to remember is that your extracurriculars should make some sense with your major. The only thing that connects your application to Nursing and Health studies is the Hospital Volunteering. Why are you taking Philosophy and Global Relations classes? Maybe you should try Physiology or Anatomy classes.

Otherwise, exemplary application.

Thanks for your input. International health kind of ties government and health into one major. I am going to try to combine my experience from my hospital volunteer work to show my interest in health with my experience in Model UN, Girls State, and my course in Public Policy to show my interest in government. I am also going to try and sign up for Red Cross classes in my area to further explore my interest in health. I’m hoping that ties my interest in International Health together. Do you think that will come across in my application if I write about it in my essay?

Indeed, the essay is the best medium with which to relate your various activities together to emphasize your future ambitions. And your plan does seem to work very well, indeed. I’ll have to admit that the only thing linking my application and business (I’m entering the school of business) is that I took an intro business course and an AP Economics course.

It’s still important to have a good variety of interests, but some extracurricular focus into your specific major looks very good on the application.
