Hi,

This is a Cornell sophomore who is really really looking forward to transfering into the SEAS school at Columbia with 3rd yr standing. Although Cornell Eng. school is professionally a much better engineering college than SEAS, SEAS happens to offer a special program that I'm very interested in. Although I've been told and have found out myself (I was waitlisted for Columbia college before) that transfer admission to Columbia is extremely competitive, I still really hope someone here could help me evaluating my chances of getting in this time. Thanks.
So here are my stats sofar, GPA: 3.7ish ECs: mostly a mix of REUs, club officer, and volunteer stuffs SAT: lo 1400ish
But the thing is that the eng. major I'm in right now happens to be one of the unpopular/weakest eng. majors in SEAS. Not sure if that would increase my chances. Anyhow, if anybody has some experiences with transfer admission to SEAS, please shed some light on my admission possibility. Thanks so much!
