Would starting/operating a successful (but small) business help on an application?

<p>@thebigshow thanks man!!! That means alot. I’ll be the first to graduate and recieve any diploma from school in my family. Wherever i go im sure i can make the best of it. BTW, if i dont go to USC or HAAS then im going to the HOnors Program @ USF. Instead of UCSC and SJSU</p>

<p>@bigshow –> Haas and Marshall are perfect schools for entrepreneurship. There are so many kids with great ideas and the network is amazing. Some of these great start up companies arent just one great mind, they involve many great ones together. I know what u mean about the JOB thing though. Its good if i want to wrk for someone but the people that you meet can become the springboard thats needed</p>

<p>I’m just gonna clarify this for the last time, business calc will NOT satisfy the calc prereq for haas. And yes, they do toss ur application if you don’t have the preqreqs. check the site. it’s the reason why 1000/1500 apps get tossed every year.</p>

<p>Hey Laker, I was at Haas today for Cal day. Not all of that 1000 are tossed because of wrong classes/missing classes. A lot are rejected because they failed the background check (i.e. lying on application, exaggerating resume). Pretty amazing!</p>
