Would they even believe it?

So I'm an international student applying to a college early decision. I intend on majoring in Psychology. Besides having high school classes (IB) I've also had some extra classes in a local university. On the Common App, they ask if we've had college classes, and also ask for our transcripts to be sent if we had one.
The reality is that I haven't done so well academically in my high school (due to some personal issues) but I have done EXTREMELY WELL in the college courses. In fact, so well that I actually had an average of 19 (grades in my country go from 1-20) which would be a 4.0 GPA in the U.S. I'm worried though that admissions will find this...strange and will question whether or not the transcript is even legit! Should I ask the university to send the transcript, and would this be an advantage and hopefully compensate my low high school grades?

That’s a strange question. Why wouldn’t they believe it? But they might think that the college classes are very easy.

Although I will be asking the university to directly send my transcript, I’m still concerned because my current high school GPA is incredibly low, while my college GPA is a 4.0. But the reality is that in college courses I feel more motivated because I’m actually studying what I love.

pennylane did you read the essay

I think you just answered your own question. Are your proposed major related to those college courses’ subjects you took? If so, then the colleges you apply will see your potentials no doubt.
