Would this answer be dodging the question?

For a certain university, the short answer prompt 1, the prompt is "Share an experience through which you have gained respect for intellectual, social, or cultural differences. Comment on how your personal experiences and achievements would contribute to the diversity of the University"

However, I think the part "Comment on how your personal experiences and achievements would contribute to the diversity of the University" is ridiculous. I feel that personal experiences combine to create a person, and everyone contributes to diversity simply because each person is an individual and different from everyone else. For me, I don't think there are certain events that stand out that make me an individual, but nevertheless, I am an individual.

Should I not say something like this in my essay? Would it seem like evading the question, or what?
