<p>In my optional essay (assuming they read it) i wrote about how i was introduced to the stock market in 8th grade. After that, i followed the markets closely for 2 or so years and managed mock portfolios. My junior year i started my own online brokerage account and averaging 8% return per month</p>
<p>Would they even care about my investment experience?</p>
<p>Anyone have an idea?</p>

<p>but it was more of how i used my passion and talent to open my own web design company </p>
<p>so we’ll see how it comes out to play. </p>

<p>Highly doubt that’s a hook; many of my friends have their own brokerage account. However, it does show your interest in business/investment.</p>

<p>my rank is terrible (11%) and my SAT score is mediocre (1220) =(</p>
<p>I got accepted to McCombs, and my SAT (Cr+M) is only 1230. I’m in the top 2% of my class though. Still, maybe you have a chance.</p>
