Would This be Considered Acceptable?

I was recently interviewed on a local news show and the station has a short, 2 minute clip on their website.

Would it be inappropriate to send an e-mail to an admissions counselor with a link to the clip?

The university in question is a top tier school that will be a reach for me even though I have a 4.0+ and decent SAT's; they only take 23& of applicants.

The school website seems to encourage contact with your state admissions counselor but I hate to look like I'm sucking up or bothering anyone. However, they can't meet or interview every candidate so this is an easy way to "see" me and learn more about a project I'm working on (that was mentioned on my Comm App).

Prior to this, my only contact with the admissions rep was to ask a question via e-mail.

So, would sending the e-mail with this further info on me be acceptable or will it make me look like an idiot and ruin my chances?

I don’t think it’s a bad idea. It will help the adcom remember you, and as long as the interview reflects positively on you, I think it’ll only help.

Besides, it’s only a 2 minute clip - I doubt the admissions officer will think you’re annoying.

what is the interview about.

oh yea and i applied for a full tuition scholarship to appstate, still haven’t heard back…didn’t know if i made that clear

sorry wrong forum lol
