Would this be ok?

The admissions office of the college I want to apply to is closed, and I want to do an interview with them. Would it be ok if I emailed the admissions consular who is in charge of my application and arranged an interview through him?

Thank you,

Works for me… Shows interest…

So yes or no would it be ok or not?

and would a college admissions consular be able to arrange an interview on his part.

We don’t know whether that would work. It would depend on the policy of the college. Some colleges don’t even allow interviews. Look at the college website to determine their policy. If it’s not there, then e-mail and ask. Some colleges offer interviews, but the interviews aren’t factored into admissions, too. Some colleges don’t care about demonstrated interest.

The college I’m applying to encourages interviews.

If it shows interest, then yes, by all means, try to schedule an interview. Even if you can’t get one, it shows your desire to go there. Usually the website has a number for interview appointments, and most college admissions officers are the ones who interview you, so e-mailing them should work just as well.

LOL… Yes it would be OK, just email your request.

make an appointment or email a request. Interviews will now, likely, be carried out in january and yes they will be in on time.eg dartmouth is now scheduling most of its interviews for mid january.
