<p>real quick question. I know UF recomputes gpa for students who are applying as incoming freshmen. On the website it says</p>
<p>"Only academic subjects are used in the calculation — English, math, social sciences, sciences and foreign languages (freshmen are required to have successfully completed 2 consecutive units of a foreign language)."</p>
<p>I took a humanities/ sociology elective my freshman year and I don't know if they will count this as an elective and not include it, or whether they will count it as a social science. Only reason I want to know is because if I include this class, it brings my UF gpa down from a 4.2 to a 4.1..... yikes.</p>
