Have GPA 3.75 out of 4 with SAT Writing 620, Reading 640 & 690 Math -

Don’t know about GT but your SATs are a little low for NYU from what I’ve seen. If you can, take them again and you should be competitive.

NYU seem very heavy on the test score side of things and not so heavy on the GPA side of things. I would agree with the retake assesment. I think the combination will buy you consideration at GT.

I’m sure you can get in with those results. It is not very hard to be admitted by both of them

I also play varsity football and FSU have shown interest and just hoping…

If FSU has shown interest in you as a football recruit and you want to play collegiate football, then I would think that GT would be interested in recruiting you too. I am not familiar with sports recruiting procedures, but I imagine that there is an NCAA approved method of letting Coach Johnson of your interest.

GT alum wife and mom of DD who has been transient student at GT for 2 separate semesters. Your 690 in Math will help- GT looks at M+CR. Your GPA if unweighted is fine. Have a strong science background and plan to get your minimum of 2 CALC. courses out of the way in the first year. I think you look good for GT-find your admissions counselor on the admissions website and make contact. Good luck-Tech is work hard school that places in excess of 65% of grads in jobs at graduation.
