<p>Hi, i am currently a freshman. i have already completed one semester, but due to some illness, i need to withdraw from the second semester. i withdraw during the first week of class. i am only withdrawing for this semester but will be returning on the next semester. would this withdrawal look bad on my transcript / record?</p>
<p>If you have a good explanation, they shouldn’t hold it against you (it’s not your fault that you got sick).</p>

<p>I agree with world changer. Since you have a legitimate reason to withdraw, and you’re (hopefully) not flunking out, then you’ll be fine.</p>
