Hey guys,
Im a freshman at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama. Its a small, private, liberal arts school, and I'm actually from Florida. Right not I still have a scholarship in Florida allowing me to go to whichever school in Florida I want and it will pay for my tuition in full. My predicament is that I want to go to medical school, and BSC is a liberal arts school that happens to get a lot of kids accepted into medical school. I am thinking of transferring to the Florida State University. I currently have a 3.56 here at BSC. Will transferring from BSC to FSU hinder my chances of getting into medical school in ANY way? Love for some great input!

Thanks,
AJ

Are you talking about Bright Futures or your Florida pre-paid? If not, what kind of scholarship is this?

Why is this a predicament? Is your sentence correct?

What is wrong with BSC?

Im talking about Bright futures. And I’m sorry for being confusing, but I am a baseball player here, and I came her for baseball purposes. Baseball recently fell out, and the tuition here is really expensive. So I was wondering if I could transfer and it not effect my chances of getting into medical school?

Bright Futures will not pay for your full tuition to whichever school you want in Florida. It won’t even make a dent in Florida privates. BF can pay 100% of a Florida public.

It sounds like you’ve lost your baseball scholarship at BSC? If so, then go to FSU. It won’t hurt your med school chances.
